Hi! I’m Scott Pruett, the guy behind MountainWP. I’ve been using WordPress since 2007 and started MountainWP to help with crucial tasks that many people tend to ignore, which can lead to crisis.
I used to be a front-end developer. I’ve since moved to focusing on maintenance while building a nonprofit with my wife. Yes, I work two jobs but much of my workday is spent near a computer, so I’m pretty easy to get in touch with.
I adhere to these principles for how I’ve built my business and strive to work with customers who see things similarly.
- Do to others what you’d want them to do to you.
- Single points of failure should be avoided.
- Collaboration results in better outcomes.
Mountains are my happy place. “MountainWP” is simply a nod to that, coupled with WordPress’ initials. I currently live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and previously lived in the Elk Mountains in Colorado.
Your business helps me support my wife and daughter and build a nonprofit to improve the lives of people affected by disability. I’m grateful for you and will make sure that every dollar you spend is well worth it.
